I copied the drivers for "A" to a folder in my home folder I called wifi. I clicked properties on install.sh and clicked 'allow executing'. I executed it and it seemed to install some drivers, I was asked for my password twice. But still, the USB is not showing up in lsusb.
Many USB wifi adapters simply do not support Linux and will not work with Linux. Many will work as long as you can find a valid driver and are able to successfully install the driver. However, if you upgrade your Linux kernel, there is no guarantee that the driver will continue to work and there is no guarantee that an updated driver will ever become available.
