Yuri Pavlovich Inkov was born in 1924 in the city of Lalsk, Kirov region. The junior lieutenant Inkov was summoned to the Great Patriotic war on August 12, 1942 by the Podosinovsky RVK, Kirov region. He was the commander of a machine-gun platoon of the 45th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 17th Guards Rifle Division of the 1st Baltic Front. During the offensive operation near the town of Dukhovshchina, Smolensk region, he was seriously wounded by a shell fragment in ​​his right foot on August 14, 1943. During the offensive operation in the same unit near the city of Vitebsk he was seriously wounded by a bullet in the head area with the damage to his right eye on December 11, 1943. As a result of the injuries he became disabled of the 3rd group. The time of his feat is August 8, 1943. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star. Later he worked as a physical training teacher in Rovnoe secondary school.
