Birth is one of life's most transformative experiences, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
As your Birth Doula, I provide continuous emotional, physical and educational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth and the immediate postpartum period.
My focus is helping you experience birth with confidence while honoring your preferences and supporting informed decision-making every step of the way.
Prenatal Support:
Before labor begins, we'll spend time getting to know one another and preparing for your birth. I like to meet 2-3 minimum during pregnancy, but we can meet as many times as you’d like or if we aren’t covering the things I feel are needed within 2-3 visits then I will suggest we meet more times as necessary.
Our prenatal visit may include:
- Building a trusting relationship so you feel fully supported
- Discussing your hopes, preferences and birth goals
- Creating a personalized birth preferences document
- Education on the stages and physiology of labor
- Understanding common medical procedures and interventions
- Comfort measures for every stage of labor
- Natural pain management techniques
- Partner preparation and coaching (if applicable)
- Positioning for labor progression and comfort
- Signs of labor and when to contact your care team
- Hospital, birth center or home birth preparation
- VBAC education and support when appropriate
- Answering questions that arise throughout pregnancy
I offer every client a homemade, non-toxic body butter and sugar scrub to assist your growing belly's elasticity and help you feel cared for and pampered.
You will also get a client folder with resources and L&W educational handouts.
