first-time users of shazam
1. download the app
2. enable microphone access
3. play the song using spotify/apple music/etc
4. click the 'shazam' button

follow all of the steps above. sadly, there is no way to clear data anymore for IOS so you can only add to the count once per 24 hours.

how?
after shazam identifies the song, exit the app
tap and hold the shazam icon and tap 'app info' from the pop up
click storage, and look for clear data
delete the data
AND RESTART THE PROCESS!
