If you are interested in a puppy from us, please start by reaching out to us. I’m happy to answer any questions that you have, and I will send you a puppy application to fill out. Filling out a puppy application does not guarantee a puppy from me. It is important to me that I match the right puppy for the right owner and job, which is why the puppy application is so extensive. Everyone’s idea of a perfect dog is different, and I’d like as much detail as possible about the type of dog you like so I can send you the best match in that litter.
We raise all of our litters with early neurological stimulation techniques. Puppies are extensively socialized and handled by both children and adults. Puppies are raised inside, with outside time to play as they get older. We also introduce various objects and surfaces for puppies to experience both in the whelping pen and in the yard. Each puppy gets individual training sessions before they go home to work on walking on a leash, crate training, playing tug and following a lure. This does not mean your puppy will be fully trained when you get them - they will need continued training throughout their lifetime, but especially as they’re growing up. We recommend being in contact with a trainer or club before bringing your puppy home. Puppies are evaluated for work by a local PSA decoy between 6 and 8 weeks old. If you are looking for a dog for ring or IGP, I will try my best to find skilled trainers or decoys to evaluate puppies for your sport. Puppies are also evaluated for show potential at this time.
We start taking deposits once our female is confirmed to be pregnant via ultrasound. Our $500 deposits are non-refundable, unless the deposit is made for a male and only females are born, or we don’t have a puppy in that litter that matches what you’d like. Deposits can be transferred to a future litter. Working homes and homes with malinois experience are given preference, but we do occasionally place puppies in active pet homes and with first time malinois owners. Dogs are only sold on limited registration, unless co-owned if you have goals to show in conformation. This can potentially be changed to full registration after health testing and titling, please contact us for more information regarding this. All puppies must be registered with an approved name. Names must start with the litter letter (2025 litter is the “A” litter), with “Fromage” before the registered name or “du Fromage” after the registered name. The call name can be anything of your choosing. For example, Fromage Always Perfect, call name “Rover” or Always Perfect du Fromage “Rover”.
The cost for puppies from each litter depends on a variety of factors including if it’s a natural breeding, outside stud, surgical AI, or any related expenses. Price may range from $3,000 to $4,500, although I usually try to stay on the lower end of that range.
Puppies must be picked up or transported at 8 weeks unless special arrangements have been made. Additional boarding costs may apply for every day past 9 weeks old, and older puppies still available may be priced higher than an 8 week old puppy due to the additional care and training I put into them. We are approximately 1.5 hours from the Atlanta airport. Please make sure we communicate about transportation prior to booking flights as I may have multiple puppies being picked up via flight at the same time, and we can arrange to meet at the airport at the same time.
Puppies have received at least one vaccine and a microchip when they leave us at 8 weeks old, and have been dewormed several times. We provide every puppy buyer with several days of the food they’re eating, treats and a toy, as well as a folder for vaccination records, pedigree, registration information, copy of the contract, etc. We will make sure you receive a copy of the contract before placing a deposit.
