Shon

Group Placing, National/Regional AOM GCh Shon de la Croix de Chevalier CGC CGCA

Shon is a 4 year old French import joining us as a proven, versatile dog with accomplishments across multiple arenas. He comes from a pedigree that blends recent herding success and even some ring sport dogs further back, and he represents the balance, confidence and athleticism we value in our program.

In the conformation ring, Shon is an accomplished dog with a group placement, a National and Regional Specialty Award of Merit. He is structurally impressive, stamping his type on all of his puppies. He stands on the larger end of the standard in height and weighs about 65 pounds.

Temperamentally, Shon offers the complete package - high drive with an off switch so solid you'd never know he had drive, confident and environmentally stable, endlessly enthusiastic about his ball, and social and people-oriented, although he can be pushy with male dogs.

Shon will be continuing his show career while here with us, and also stepping into some sport and herding work. He has also started training for narcotics detection work and is doing very well.

He is available at stud to approved females. Shon is fully health tested with good hips, normal elbows and eyes, and a clear embark panel.
