Florence Lehnert is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Learning Sciences at the Center of Advanced Technology for Assisted Learning and Predictive Analytics (CATALPA), FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany. Her research explores how generative AI reshapes learning processes and human–AI collaboration in educational contexts. She examines AI-mediated learning through theoretical and design-oriented lenses, including extended cognition and speculative methods, with the aim of developing conceptually grounded frameworks and practical guidelines for responsible AI integration in higher education. She completed her PhD at the University of Luxembourg in 2024, focusing on user experience evaluation in digital assessment contexts, and has been active in the HCI and educational technology communities.
