The coursework from 'Focus on Faith' is used for those who are coming to the Catholic Church perhaps for the First time. The units below aim to introduce the Catholic Faith in a simple way and those taking the course are invited to engage in discussion about their beliefs.The Priest will meet regularly with those considering becoming Catholic and he will advise and help them to discern whether this is the right time for them to become Catholic, or whether they need to give more thought and time for discernment. There are fundamental aspects of the faith that need to be believed and understood, therefore it may take a person some time before they can become a Catholic, however, everyone is on a journey of faith, and it is longer for some than others.
