Sam Shovel, Private Eye

It’s a hot and sultry day in the gritty city, and Sam Shovel has a dead man sprawled in her office, stabbed in the back with a yardstick.  Ends up this is just the first of a string of murders happening in the fashion industry.  Though no one would ever think of Sam having anything to do with high fashion, it’s up to the private eye to find the connecting thread and sew up the case. A Radio Theater production recorded with a live studio audience!

Audition Prep:

Come with a 1-2 minute monologue of your choice featuring a strong character or characters.  What can you do with your voice to tell the story?  This can be something from a play or think about your favorite book character and find a selection.  

These do not have to be memorized but should be VERY well prepared!  This is a small cast show so bring your best.

Roles are also available for the FOLEY ARTISTS that will be creating the sound effects LIVE.  If you are a piano player or saxaphone player who loves good sultry, jazzy noir music don't be afraid to come out to audition.
