What We Do

The Friends promote community awareness of the materials, services, and programs the Library has to offer. By providing financial support through membership dues, book sale revenues, and volunteer work, the Friends help expand library resources, programs and the purchase of new equipment that is not covered by the Library's budget.

Contributions made to the Library:

Upgrades to the Children's Reading Room

Sculpture to represent library diversity, reading encouragement and technology utilization

Artwork by Red Bank artist, Monika McCall titled "Super Nova"

Reader's Clubhouse mural for the Youth Services Department

Sundail in honor of Judy Friend in appreciation for the time and effort that she gave toward improvements at the Library

Benches that sit outside the front entrance so patrons can enjoy the outdoors

Landscaping for the gazebo which was built as an Eagle Scout project by Andrew McAllister, Boy Scout Troop #82
