The Friends of Welles-Turner Memorial Library is a non-profit organization run by volunteers who raise money for the library to enhance its collections and resources.  The Friends offer various educational and enrichment programs for adults and children.  Membership dollars are an important source of funds for the Friends and for the library, and the group urges you to become a member or renew your annual membership this month. The Friends of the Welles--Turner Memorial Library has been granting a scholarship to the Glastonbury community since 2006.  Over $14,000 has been given out in scholarships to well deserving college bound high school seniors!
