Torrent

Radio Communications Obscured via Reflections

Assisting in Understanding an Ever-Changing Combat Environment

Using terrain data and raytracing, Torrent predicst how beamformed radio will propogate in urban scene. Radio communications transmitted using Torrent will avoid and confuse listening antennas, allowing soldiers to gather their allies' locations without sacrificing their safety.

Raytraced Radio

Raytracing simulations accurately predict the safest way to communicate with allies

Encrypted GFSK

Encryption increases security while GFSK modulation resists phase change and allows for low-power operation

Circular Phased Array

Light-wave interference directs beams of radio with no heavy or failure-prone mechanical parts

Spatial Security

Beamforming radio broadcasts confuse traditional triangulation systems or avoid them entirely
