Teamlab Planets

I took the Shinkansen all the way back to Tokyo and got another lunchbox. The hotel chain I stayed at, APA, was probably the cheapest one besides the capsule but it was also possibly the nicest one. I prefer to use them now. They had a Domino's menu set up and made it accessible for foreigners to order delivery. I didn't realize this would be such a luxury until I got to Korea the following year where it was nearly impossible to get something delivered as a foreigner. There was a Yoshinoya beef bowl chain right around the corner. They had my order ready within seconds of ordering. Things are just different here.

I met up with my friends that just flew in on a delayed flight so we just chilled out that night and got Okonomiyaki. The next day we walked to Tsukiji market and had some of the freshest sushi I've ever had. We then walked over the bridge to Toyosu market and Teamlab.

So Teamlab was one of the main things that made me HAVE to go to Japan. The main one was closed down for relocation so this one was Teamlab Planets. This one had the weird gimmick of having you being in shin high water but you were supplied with towels and wiped down slippers in multiple areas. I don't have the best pics and videos of this place because I've definitely seen better on social media, it's just so cool to be there and take everything in.

I have do say that I didn't get a lot of mileage out of this room because of the dizziness I felt by trying to stand up here after sitting down. The entire room, floor and ceiling had this effect.

Very difficult to not get other people in the shot but I tried. It's kind of hard to show off but the flowers are moving up and down as well.

Afterwards we went right across the street to Toyosu Market which is famous for its tuna auctions but viewing was very limited and the restaurants were all reserved up or had all these lines. There's a very famous place here where you have to line up in the morning to get an hourly slot that day to return and eat.

Afterward we went over to the Art Aquarium Museum which was actually located on top of a mall.

Next we had reservations for the Strawberry Buffet at the Intercontinental hotel. Most of the fancy hotels have buffets but some of them offer these awesome Strawberry themed buffets when its in season.

We did the dinner buffet, they had a huge section of savory food and a room for charcuterie and bread and cheeses but it's mostly western food. I tried as many desserts as I could...
