Baba Yaga is a slavic folktale. She is a story exchanged by the campfire. She is akin to the feeling of finding oneself in the woods alone just as it's getting dark, of taking a faulty step, of making a promise you know you can’t keep. Baba Yaga is a scary scary witch, a “vedma”, and Masha has no one else to turn to. For those seeking dark fantasy and odd, queer (queer!) romance.
