My pieces are scattered through time, and I believe they're an apt portrait of my life experience through the years. I've ordered them chronologically to share that experience, for your curiosity, and for our acquaintance. Friendship can blossom through the written word, I think. Epistolary is one of my favorite genres! Words haven't ever led people astray, I'm sure.

I wrote a lot of poetry during my last vacation before the pandemic happened. That vacation took me and my family to Cape Cod. The weather there was so moody. Locked up in my home now, I remember it still.

In my early college years, I was plagued with anxiety, which felt visceral to me. This poem reflects the bodily sensation of those nerves, as well as the time I spent admiring the natural surroundings around me in California, while taking calming walks.
