Create opportunities for meaningful connections and discussions between participants
Address: How do we collect and leverage data?
Questions We Will Investigate:
How do we get kids started with problem solving?
What makes a good problem?
What are common pitfalls? What do we do if kids get stuck?
How do we know if we are making progress?
General resources/research on problem solving
How do we get kids to share their thinking?
How do we pick which students’ work to showcase?
How do we get students to engage with each other’s thinking?
How does student work guide instruction and next steps?
How can we leverage student work to reach the rigor of the standards?
How can we use the discussion/share out to provide access for all students?
