Now, about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers, and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. To each one, the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. - 1 Corinthians 12:1,7
1 Corinthians 1:7 clearly states, "to each one is given a spiritual gift." The Apostle Paul goes on to list a group of giftings. Romans 12 and Ephesians 4 expand this list, valuing each one of them equally.
At Fresh Wind Fellowship, we want to help you discover your Spiritual gifts and use them to witness your faith as Jesus commands us in Acts 1:8.
Every believer should have a ministry and a mission. Ministry is expressed within the church for the benefit of other believers. Mission is expressed in the community and in the world.
1 Corinthians 12 confirms this thinking about ministry and mission. Ministry is for "the common good." Jesus' imperative for mission is stated in Matthew 28:19, "Go into all the world." Believers must fulfill both ministry and mission.
Sadly, many believers are aware of their spiritual gifts but are not allowed to express them. Our mission at Fresh Wind Fellowship is to provide opportunities for you to express your ministry and mission. Whether your gift is music, teaching, children's ministry, or serving, we want to help you minister to others in the body of Christ. If your mission is street ministry, evangelism, missions, or pastoral ministry, we want to funnel your gifts to the community and the world.
God wants to use you! It's an essential part of His plan for your life!
We invite you to talk to us about your God-given gifts, ministry, and mission.
