This website is great for getting additional instruction on a particular topic or if you're attempting to get ahead in class. The instructors create videos that show them work out a problem as they explain each step. If something in class just doesn't click with you, I'd take notes on the videos on Khan Academy as they might have a different method of working out a problem. After the video, you can practice problems to make sure you fully understand the section before moving on. To find a topic, you can either go through the appropriate math subject, or you can search for it in the search bar.

I love this website! If I'm trying to find a new way of explaining a topic or am looking for a visual, I will typically go to this website. Even though most people disagree with the title of the website, they will agree that the information contained within is very beneficial to non-mathematically focused individuals. I would utilize this website if you need an additional visual or explanation of a topic we discuss in class.

Shmoop isn't just a funny word. This site is AMAZING as it is created by high school and college students. Although it is more of an English/Language Arts-based site, the resources for mathematics are great. There are tons of examples, definitions, exercises, online quizzes, and much much more. The best part about this website is that it is made for non-math people. If you ever get stuck on something and want to see how another problem would be worked out, search for the topic and go under "Examples". Trust me, this can be your best friend.

Have you ever gotten home to work on your homework and you realize you forgot your graphing calculator at home? Well have no fear, desmos is here. Desmos is an online graphing calculator which has a lot of features (many that I don't even know). Desmos will easily find intersection points, zeroes, vertices, and a variety of other key features of a graph. The best part about this program is that you should have access to it during your tests at the end of the school year. If you can get to know it now, it could save your life in the long run.

I LOVE THIS WEBSITE. It is amazing how detailed and explicitly this website can explain a topic. The hardest part about this website is finding the section you're looking for. Most of what is covered in Math 1 will be under Algebra 1. Math 2 and Math 3 will be split between Algebra 2 and Geometry. THEN, you have to find the subcategory for each class. AND THEN, find the actual topic. But if you can get there, you'll learn so much more than you would have thought. Use this if you'd like more explanation of a topic.

You have no idea how many functions and options the calculator can do. This is a guide that explains all of the ways you can use the calculator to solve a problem. What I really like about this site is that it divides everything into the same categories you'd find in the mathbits notebook. These two sites would work wonders when used together.
