French Play Date

The French Play Date

Age Group:

0-5 years old

Goal:

Be free to explore, and discover the self that excites you.

Description:

Our goal is to explore the world, on site and through hands on experiences, so we go to parks, museums, natural reserves, and other sites to learn what this world is all about, and read. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Since children learn through experience, especially under 5 years old, our exploration is in an immersive French-speaking environment so French can become second nature to them. Our environment is based on the Montessori model with Reggio-Emilia and Waldorf-inspired craft kits and activities for children who want to. The youngest students (aged 0 to 2.5) seeking to participate must be in Parent/Caregiver and Me tandems. All the free play time is screen-free and with French-speaking facilitators, and all the interactions with adults are with French speakers. Participation in all activities is always optional. Children can choose to come at the frequency they want, although assiduity guarantees the most optimal results for language proficiency.

Co-working space available for parents.
