Starflight Special Edition

The usual disclamer: This game has been modified on my free time and is available for free. You are not allowed to include it in paid "hard drive compilations" sell or 'adapt' it in any way, shape or form! If you paid for this game you got scammed, ask the seller for a refund at once!

Here is a special version of this old space exploration game with the following changes:

• The copy protection has been completely removed (unlike other cracks, even at launch, the computer doesn't ask for a password anymore, and the police checks have been deactivated).

• The copyright screen is bypassed.

• The game now uses a better-looking font converted from the Amiga release of Starflight II.

• When you chose to quit (from the ESC menu), the game now actually returns to desktop instead of displaying a 'please reboot' message.

There are 2 versions of the game, one has the whole game engine inside a file called STARFLGT.AGO (this is most probably the older US version), and one where the engine is split between the AGO file and several OVL files (European version, probably more recent than the US one). However I didn't notice any game differences between the 2.

The game is hard drive compatible from day one, also runs on CT60 and you can even play with an USB mouse and the TOS USB driver!

Download the "AGO" version for hard drive - download the "OVL" version for hard drive (last update 21.06.2026).
