Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting another company's product (or service).

The affiliate simply searches for a product they like, then promotes that product and earns a piece of the profit from each sale they make. It is an advertising model in which a company compensates third-party publishers to generate traffic or leads to the company’s products and services.

Amazon popularized the practice by creating an affiliate marketing program.
