Freedom has joined 11 other communities in the Mount Washington Valley to combine the talents and resources to further develop the MWV as a place for individuals of all ages and abilities to thrive.
The vision of the program is: Citizens of all ages can say they would rather live here than anywhere else.

As part of the Mount Washington Valley Age-Friendly Community Initiative a resource guide was developed. The guide includes information regarding the different services available to individuals in a variety of areas such as: health, housing and residential care, nutrition, recreation, fitness and clubs, transportation, social security, tax assistance and veterans’ programs.
