Nicky Nook summit
All walks are anticlockwise circular from Garstang Map - A blue, B red, C brown
The A route, led by Christine, starts heading E over the railway and M6 and on to Calder Vale. It then turns generally N past Grizedale Lea Reservoir over Nicky Nook to Grizedale Bridge, then generally SW along Grizedale to cross the M6 and railway again and back to Garstang.

The B route, led by Geoff, heads N alongside the River Wyre then generally NE to cross the railway and M6 and traverse Grizedale to its reservoir. Turning WNW it's up to Nicky Nook trig and down again to Wyresdale Park and Scorton to turn S back to cross the M6 and railway and follow the outward route back to Garstang.

The C route, led by Chris, starts S through Garstang to the Lancaster Canal which it follows SE on the towpath over the River Wyre viaduct. In just over a mile there's a footbridge over the canal to a footpath which goes over the railway and M6. It's then N near the M6 with a detour past All Saints Church to cross back over the M6 and railway and on to a bridge over the Wyre to follow the Wyre Way back to Garstang.
