14th Aug 2022 - Hebden Bridge

The A walk, led by Christine, starts at Walk Mill to head N on the Burnley Way to Cliviger Laithe. The route turns E past Hurstwood Reservoir to pick up the Pennine Bridleway and then on paths past Gorple Upper & Lower Reservoirs to follow Hebden Dale to Hebden Bridge.

The B walk, led by Geoff, is a clockwise circular from Hebden Bridge. Initially it follows the Rochdale Canal towards Todmorden before picking up the Pennine Way northwards. The return is via Slack, Heptonstall and Lee Wood.

The C/D walk, led by Dot, follows the Rochdale Canal from Todmorden to Hebden Bridge (4.5 miles) but can be extended by 2 miles alongside the railway on the south side of the canal before returning to Hebden Bridge along the canal (see map).
