The A walk, led by Jim, starts at Lindale to head N over Newton Fell, turning W at High Newton Reservoir to Bigland Tarn. The Cumbria Coastal Way is then followed S, turning SE on a minor road near Speel Bank, then S on a footpath to Cartmel. The final leg heads E on the Cistercian Way over Hampsfell Ridge continuing past High Farm to Grange-over-Sands.

The B route, led by Kevin, is an anticlockwise circular from Grange-over-Sands around Hampsfield to Hampsfell and back over Eden Mount.

7.4 miles with 1600 ft of ascent Map GPX download

The C route, led by Chris, starts along the front at Grange and then heads NW to Alithwaite. From there it heads W via Birkby Hall to Low Bank Side where it turns N. Then it is NE to Cartmel via the Race Course and E via Grange Fell Golf Course and back to Grange. There are some stiles including one high stone one, but all in good condition.
