All routes are circular from Waterhead Car Park, Ambleside LA22 0ES

The A route, led by Kenny and Mandi, starts along the River Rothay then along the A591 for a short distance and through Rydal Park to Rydal for the Fairfield Horseshoe clockwise, returning via Low Sweden Bridge to Ambleside.

The B walk, led by Brian, will take in Loughrigg Fell & Rydal Water.

The C walk, led by Thelma and Gayle is a circular to Rydal. Starting along to Pelter Bridge, then along Rydal Water and through White Moss Wood. Then follow the Grasmere footpath into Grasmere Village. We’ll need to get a bus back into Ambleside so remember to take your bus pass.

6 miles, mainly flat and no stiles.
