11th April 2021 - Arnside

All walks are circular from Arnside, High tide is 12.35 pm.

The A route, led by Christine, goes along the coast to Sandside then up to Wray Cottage, down to the deer park and up to Fairy Steps. It's then 2.5 miles SW to Queen Victoria’s Pepper Pot on King William's Hill followed by Arnside Tower and Arnside Knott. About 12 miles.

The B route, led by Steve, heads NE along the estuary to Sandside then SE over Beetham Fell to the highest point of the walk at Fairy Steps. It then descends to Hazelslack Tower then SW to the railway and on to Arnside Tower before returning to Arnside. About 8 miles.

The C route, led by Chris, sets off SW along the front then ascends a track to a short road section. Then left into Copridding Wood and towards Arnside Wood and descends to Hollins Farm. Return is through Arnside Park, Frith Wood and New Barns. Some of it depends on the tide but the walk can be reversed if need be. About 6.5 miles.
