The 12 mile A walk, led by Brian, starts along the beach from Grange, around Humphrey Head then follows the Cumbria Coast Way to Cowpren Point and north via Holker Hall and Walton Hall across the race course into Cartmel.

The B walk, led by Chris and Pam, is a circular from Cartmel up to Bigland Tarn and back.

The C walk, led by Noel and Sandy, is a circular from Cartmel along the Cistercian Way via Walton Hall and Holker to Cark returning through Lane Park.
