The B team start at Skelwith Bridge and follow part of the Cumbria Way via Colwith Force to Stang End. Keep heading W to the picturesque Slater Bridge just before which there is an exciting detour through an old mine to Cathedral Quarry (a torch would be useful). Continue past Slater Bridge to Bridge End to cross Greenburn Beck to Fell Foot, turning left on the Wrynose Pass road for a short way to pick up the track heading N to Blea Tarn. If time permits the ascent of Side Pike can be made before descending to ODG.
