The post Xmas perambulation is around Rivington from the Visitor Centre. Get there from J6 off the M61 (Reebok Stadium), L through Horwich, 1st R after the B226 roundabout and about 1.5 miles further on. Aim to get there for 9.45 for a 10am start.
