The A walk is SW from Kettlewell to Hawkswick, continuing on to Parson's Pulpit. Then SE to Mastiles Lane which is followed to Conistone and on up Scot Gate Lane to meet the Dales Way leading back to Kettlewell.

The B walk is to Buckden on the N side of Wharfedale, returning on the Dales Way on the S side.

An alternative B walk is what we did in 2007 on our last visit which is to follow the Dales Way from Burnsall to Kettlewell (10 miles with 1100' of ascent)
