Dec 30th 2012 - Ryal Fold (by car)
The post-Xmas perambulation is to Ryal Fold near Darwen for an 8 mile walk around Darwen Moor (weather permitting). You get to Ryal Fold from junction 3 on the M65 taking the A675 south (Belmont/Bolton). 4 miles on take the sharp L turning and Ryal Fold is 1.5 miles further on at the public house. Aim to get there by 9.45 for a 10 o'clock start.
