To clarify I'm doing all this through the bash terminal on ubuntu wsl and I am not using the windows version of git. I am using the version of git that was included in ubuntu. All these commands I entered are linux commands.

The Git credential cache runs a daemon process which caches your credentials in memory and hands them out on demand. So killing your git-credential-cache--daemon process throws all these away and results in re-prompting you for your password if you continue to use this as the cache.helper option.

You could also disable use of the Git credential cache using git config --global --unset credential.helper. Then reset this, and you would continue to have the cached credentials available for other repositories (if any). You may also need to do git config --system --unset credential.helper if this has been set in the system configuration file (for example, Git for Windows 2).

On Windows you might be better off using the manager helper (git config --global credential.helper manager). This stores your credentials in the Windows credential store which has a Control Panel interface where you can delete or edit your stored credentials. With this store, your details are secured by your Windows login and can persist over multiple sessions. The manager helper included in Git for Windows 2.x has replaced the earlier wincred helper that was added in Git for Windows 1.8.1.1. A similar helper called winstore is also available online and was used with GitExtensions as it offers a more GUI driven interface. The manager helper offers the same GUI interface as winstore.

I'm new to Power Automate, I am trying to extract data from a web page using the "extract data from web page" action. I am running into issues due to the live web helper not popping up so I cannot click on the elements to extract. It pops up sometimes but not consistently and I'm not sure if there is a way to ensure it can auto pop up or if I need to be selecting something to use the web helper. If anyone knows how to make sure you can access the live web helper I would appreciate the advice.

-us/library/cc144099(VS.85).aspx Browser Helper Objects are Component Object Model (COM) components that Internet Explorer loads whenever it starts. These objects run in the same memory context as the browser and they can perform any action on the available windows and modules. Every time I start up my computer ESET Activation helper v.2.1 window pops up, only problem is before this whole ordeal I chose to ask again, but the day later I activated without the activation helper and so now I have ESET activated but the window keeps popping up. and I cant select any options from the window because it just says not responding and it stays like that. any way I can fix this annoying pop up every time I turn on my PC?

I'm having a problem with the cpu and memory usage CEF helper has. It takes up so much while i'm not even using it. I saw Mac owners had problems with this but didn't see anyone with windows having this issue. Does somebody know why it behaves like this? and what to do to fix it?

In Task Manager if I go to Details tab and right click on Adobe Desktop services to analyse eait chain, there always seem to be at leat 4 processes waiting to complete "Network I/O" can't end task by selecting them they never change always PID 4824 and various/different threads, they never seem to complete I/O network calls, maybe this is where the helper program is getting hung up? (I'm not a programmer or IT guy I was just poking around).

Before you can connect to AWS CodeCommit for the first time, you must complete the initial configuration steps. For most users, this can be done most easily by following the steps in For HTTPS users using Git credentials. However, if you want to connect to CodeCommit using a root account, federated access, or temporary credentials, you can use the credential helper that is included in the AWS CLI.

Although the credential helper is a supported method for connecting to CodeCommit using federated access, an identity provider, or temporary credentials, the recommended method is to install and use the git-remote-codecommit utility. For more information, see Setup steps for HTTPS connections to AWS CodeCommit with git-remote-codecommit.

Follow these steps to set up an Amazon Web Services account, create and configure an IAM user, and install the AWS CLI. The AWS CLI includes a credential helper that you configure for HTTPS connections to your CodeCommit repositories.

(Optional) If you intend to use HTTPS with the credential helper that is included in the AWS CLI instead of configuring Git credentials for CodeCommit, on the Configuring extra options page, make sure the Enable Git Credential Manager option is cleared. The Git Credential Manager is only compatible with CodeCommit if IAM users configure Git credentials. For more information, see For HTTPS users using Git credentials and Git for Windows: I installed Git for Windows, but I am denied access to my repository (403).

The AWS CLI includes a Git credential helper you can use with CodeCommit. The Git credential helper requires an AWS credential profile, which stores a copy of an IAM user's AWS access key ID and AWS secret access key (along with a default AWS Region name and default output format). The Git credential helper uses this information to automatically authenticate with CodeCommit so you don't need to enter this information every time you use Git to interact with CodeCommit.

Open a command prompt and use Git to run git config, specifying the use of the Git credential helper with the AWS credential profile, which enables the Git credential helper to send the path to repositories:

The credential helper uses the default AWS profile or the Amazon EC2 instance role. If you have created an AWS credential profile to use, such as CodeCommitProfile, you can modify the command as follows to use it instead:

If your installation of Git for Windows included the Git Credential Manager utility, you see 403 errors or prompts to provide credentials into the Credential Manager utility after the first few connection attempts. The most reliable way to solve this problem is to uninstall and then reinstall Git for Windows without the option for the Git Credential Manager utility, because it is not compatible with CodeCommit. If you want to keep the Git Credential Manager utility, you must perform additional configuration steps to also use CodeCommit, including manually modifying the .gitconfig file to specify the use of the credential helper for AWS CodeCommit when connecting to CodeCommit. Remove any stored credentials from the Credential Manager utility (you can find this utility in Control Panel). After you have removed any stored credentials, add the following to your .gitconfig file, save it, and then try connecting again from a new command prompt window:

On some versions of Windows, you might see a pop-up message asking for your user name and password. This is the built-in credential management system for Windows, but it is not compatible with the credential helper for AWS CodeCommit. Choose Cancel.

I found a solution that described using the CONCATENATE function to merge two values into a 'helper' column in my look up table. It partially worked, but not all the values were coming through correctly. I've tinkered with it and now none of the values are coming through at all!!

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. Uninstalling the extension, restarting my PC, then reinstalling the extension.

2. bundkate's solution of pressing windows + r to open a run window, typing in "1Password --setup" (with no quotes). I receive an error that says "Error parsing arguments: opw-command-line\src\lib.rs:192 failed to parse command line".

3. Greg's revised solution of pressing windows + r to open a run window, typing in "1Password.exe --setup" (with no quotes). I receive the exact same error as above in #2.

4. Opening command prompt and typing in "1Password.exe --setup" (with no quotes). I receive an error that says "'1Password.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file."

I have the same issue. My workflow used the 'evernote helper' 4+ hours a day to take meeting, class and conference notes - by clipping screen shots, typing, annotating screen shots, adding link, dragging stuff into the note, etc. Now the screen shot doesn't open in the note, it is sent as its own single note to evernote and you never see it. What use is this if you are taking 50 screen shots over the course of an hour zoom meeting? I want the 50 screen shots in my note and I want to annotate them. Sometimes I would use 2 notes. One was the intermediary - the top bar evernote helper where I would do the screen shots and then I would drag them from there to a new note.. because a normal note does not have the capablity of screen shoting over and over again and annotating. It was BRILLIANT!!! So amazing and no matter how many hours I took notes in that one note it NEVER once lost it . I could rely on this workflow 100%. There is nothing like this... SO why disable this workflow? Especially in the time of ZOOM? This is a seller for evernote - just this one workflow!!!

@cbrewer thank you. When I attempt to use this. The login window will flash but re appear right away without displaying the jamf helper window. Am I missing something or is there something more I have to do?

I just reinstalled windows after nvme secure erased my SSD and this is a scan 1 day after reinstall they appear.. I was wondering what exactly they are and if I should worry or how to permenetly get rid of them as I think they come back every so often?

I am not exactly sure why the web helper is running, but I could guess:

Spotify is allowed to run from the browser, ie you click on a Spotify link or a play button ( such as those on last.fm) then it sends a nudge to the desktop program to open and play this song or playlist. That web helper could serve this purpose. I am entirely not sure if turning off the "allow Spotify to be opened from web" from the Spotify preferences would make it disappear, I have never tried. 0852c4b9a8
