I had a lot of difficulty getting the Arduino program working properly. Sketch menu, > Include Library > Manage Libraries... In the text input box type in "NeoPixel". Look for "Adafruit NeoPixel by Adafruit".

Arduino does not show up on Port

Install ftdi driver

Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers allow the USB device to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. Application software can access the USB device in the same way as it would access a standard COM port.

install chg340g driver

CH340 is a USB bus conversion chip, it can realize USB to UART interface. In serial UART mode, CH340 provides common MODEM signals, used to expand UART interface of computer or upgrade the common serial device to USB bus directly.
