Frau Howard graduated from Lamar High School in 2017.  She then went to the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned a Bachelors in Economics with a Minor in German.  She graduated from UTA in 2020.  Frau Howard briefly pursued a Masters in Economic Data Analytics, but decided that while economic date is extremely fascinating, she much preferred German.  She chose to pursue a teaching certification shortly after that.

Frau Howard began teaching at Lamar in January 2022.  She loves teaching at her alma mater in the very same room where she started formally learning German.  In addition to German, Frau Howard will be teaching AVID for the 2024-25 school year.  

Outside of school, Frau Howard is a member of the Arlington Sister Cities organization.  She leads the German Conversation Group.
