Volunteer Opportunities 2026-27

Welcome back to school! There is so much to look forward to this year and so many opportunities to support our students and teachers. Please sign up to help in whatever capacity you can. You’ll be enriching your child’s school experience and making new friends. Most committees have chair people but need team members.  When everyone pitches in, everyone benefits!

• Mum Sale- Help distribute mums sold. (Sept)

• Halloween Fun Night- Set up a table of goodies, run a game, oversee events, set up/clean up from the event. (Oct)

• Book Fair- Set up, staff, and tear down fair displays during conferences. (Oct, March)

• Hospitality- Help set up meals, donate food, help students with flowers and other gifts to show our appreciation to staff during conferences (Oct, March) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May). 

• Falcons Boosters- Support by donating food and/or time towards 4 appreciation days throughout the year for the staff (throughout year).

• Northland Rolladium Skate Nights - Supervise skating party & help provide treats for skaters. (Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar)

• Fun Run-Help plan an entertaining run, gather supplies and donations, count laps run, hand out water & prizes. (Oct)

• Cookie Dough Sales- Help with distributing when cookie dough comes in. (Nov)

• Parent Social/Silent Auction- Help obtaining donations from the community, labeling items, decorating, planning meal, MC event, clean-up. (Feb)

• Donuts with Grownups - Serve donuts to students & caregivers before school. (April)

• Carnival- Organize games, prizes, and fundraising. Volunteer & run a game. (April)

• Field Day- Help set up and supervise stations on this very fun day. (May)

• 5th Grade Recognition- 5th grade parents plan celebration & class picnic, decorate, create a gift for all 5th graders. (May)

• Talent Show - Organize  & support children’s performances. (May)

• Artwork Removal- Remove and sort artwork from hallway displays. (May)

• Parent Room Volunteer - Volunteer to set up or donate to classroom parties (Oct, Dec, Feb)
