I am a graduate student in Department of Politics and Public Administration at University of Hong Kong(HKUPPA).
I study authoritarian politics, bureaucratical politics, political economy, and political methodology, with regional focus in China. Specifically, I study the power sharing mechanism and bureaucratic control in authoritarian countries, focusing on how elite dynamics undermine the authoritarian resilience. I also study the distributive behaviour of authoritarian governments and how inequality generates consequences on political control. Methodologically, aside from design based causal inference, I utilize network analysis, machine learning, and text models to conduct my research.
In 2023, I recevied A.M. degree in development study and social policy from China Agricultural University.
In 2020, I received an LL.B. degree in Law from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
