Final Reflection

Abstract

This class has been a learning experience along with growth, understanding, and group interaction. I feel that this class was too short as there is so much information on oceanography. Overall, this class went well i have no complains. I feel that I have earn C.

Introduction/Background

The knowledge I have through the years of our ocean is very minimal. My knowledge on plate tectonic is that they move towards each other and cause earthquakes, hints the San Andrea's fault. In regard to circular patterns, I have very little to no knowledge. On tides and coasts, I know we have a high tide and low tide throughout the day. I am hopeful that throughout this semester I will get a stronger grasp on Oceanography which in return I can become a better host to our planet.

Goals/Objectives

My goal for this class and how to achieve them

• Learn and understand how our Ocean works.

• I will have to attend class on time

• Turn in class work

• Create my E-portfolio and add information along the way

My goal is to end with a B for a grade.

I have meet I have attended class on time and showed up approximately 89% of the time. Understanding how the ocean work has been a great experience. I turn in my class work that i was missing and have turn in my E-portfolio to my best of my understanding and knowledge. I believe as for my grade I have earn a letter grade of a C.

Methods

• • • Ending procrastination. It worked fantastic because

    • I got my work done got work done.

    • Time spend in class and class work was about 8 hrs.

    • Within the last 3 weeks I feel I have met my I objective because I have class work in, and E-portfolio done.

Conclusions/Discussion

My conclusion for this school semester has been a bit of a challenge as all this has been new to me, In the years that I have attended Victor Valley College for my associated degree not one class has been like this one also this has been my first scientific paper I had to create, along with an E-portfolio. This class make you even more aware of the challenges we are facing with global warming, also you want to share the information you are learning with family friend. Dr. Copper has allowed us to take a step back and see how we have grown as individuals. I have loved this class it has been an amazing experience I have earn earned a grade letter C as i do have room for growth and improvement.

• • • As far as my involvement in class I have tried to chime in as much as I can in class. I have turn in the assignment I recall that were due. I have attended class about 89 % of the time and when I was in class, I would pay attention and try to take notes.

    • I have experienced a variety of skills, one being the knowledge of creating an E-portfolio is useful for a business. The second being growth and understanding, time management along with mental wellbeing.

    • The understanding of basic concept and understanding of the ocean how plate tectonic works, how important ocean circulation is to our planet. How tides and coast, and physical proper are involved.

    • I have always understood to take care of our planet as far as recycle, not overuse electricity and water. But with taking oceanography it makes you more self-aware of the changes we as individuals need to make as a person or a community.

    • I am proud of my E-portfolio I'm glad we had this experience for creativity:)

    • I would give myself a grade of C

    • I believe that my grade would match, because I do have room for growth, and I have done my work.

    • I would like to end this paper with thanking Dr. cooper for this opportunity and experience for taking the time to check-in on us once or twice a week in some weeks. For the individual class meeting!
