Curriculum Vitae

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering in the Department of Arts and Sciences and a Research Associate in the Center for Blockchain Technologies at University College London (UK). I completed my PhD thesis in Theoretical Physics and Cosmology under the supervision of Michael Joyce, Sorbonne University (FR). Thereafter, I moved to the University of Burgundy (FR), where I worked on computational biophysics of proteins under the supervision of Patrick Senet. I then moved to the PhyStat group supervised by Nicolas Destainville, University of Toulouse (FR), where I conducted my research on DNA dynamics and Protein-DNA interaction. Thereafter, I spent several years in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University College London (UK), supervised by Alberto Striolo, where I developed a strong computational expertise in molecular thermodynamics as applied to nanoparticle-stabilized emulsions and hydrate management. Then I moved to King's College London (UK), where I conducted my research on the development of molecular-dynamics based Markov state models and machine learning for bio-inspired systems under the supervision of  Edina Rosta. In 2020, I moved back to University College London (UK) where I conducted my research on protein stability in porous materials under the mentorship of Özgür Yazaydin. My independent research has recently been awarded the Seal of Excellence (SoE) by the European Commission under the program Horizon 2020.
