My research focuses on the fascinating field of animal locomotion, with a special emphasis on using non-human primate models to gain deeper insights into the evolution of human locomotion. I work at the intersection of behavior, biomechanics and anatomy where my primary focus lies in exploring topics such as positional repertoire, bipedalism, locomotor performance and trade-offs, and energy expenditure within an evolutionary perspective.
