About me

As you may have noticed, I really love mountain sports. I like trekking, climbing, alpine skiing and ski touring (i.e. whatever can take me to the top of a mountain, no matter the season).

I also enjoy playing (and watching) other sports, like football (where I usually play right-back or right-outside), tennis (where I prefer hard courts to clay courts) and beach volley. Moreover, I love to experience more exotic sports: I liked a lot going rafting, sailing and canyoning.

I play the piano and the clarinet (both as an amateur). My favourite musical genre is progressive rock, but I also enjoy classical rock and classical music. I used to play the keyboards in some small rock bands: if you are lucky, you can find some of our original songs in the internet...

I really love art and history. I think that one must understand the (hi)story of a person, a folk, a nation in order to have a clue on his/its present behaviour.

I am fascinated by ancient history and by the first evidences of human wit and creativity.
