This agreement is made between Francesca Pet Care (Service Provider) and the pet owner (Client).
1. Pet Health & Behavior Requirements
All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
Dogs must have an appropriate leash and harness available at time of service.
Client agrees to disclose any medical, behavioral, or special needs of their pet(s) in advance.
Client certifies that their dog/s and/or cat/s has not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior toward any person or other animal.
Francesca Pet Care reserves the right to refuse service if a pet displays aggression, illness, or behavior that may endanger the pet, other animals, people, or the Service Provider.
2. Liability
The Client acknowledges that they are fully responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet to property, other animals, or persons during the time of service.
Francesca Pet Care will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and well-being of pets under care, but is not liable for illness, injury, loss, or death of the pet due to circumstances beyond control.
The Client agrees to release and hold harmless Francesca Pet Care from any and all liabilities related to the care of their pet.
3. Access to Property
The Client authorizes Francesca Pet Care to enter their home for the purpose of providing services (e.g., dog walking, cat visits, boarding pick-up/drop-off).
The Client agrees to provide a working key and/or access code for home entry.
Francesca Pet Care agrees to securely store all keys and take care of property access.
In the event that a key is lost, the Service Provider agrees to cover the cost of one replacement copy (up to $100).
Keys will be labeled only with pet names (no addresses or full names) and securely stored.
In the event of service termination, keys will be returned within 7 days or upon client request.
4. Bookings & Payment
Bookings are confirmed only through written communication (text or email).
Payments are due via cash or e-transfer to francesca.biondo.1@gmail.com
For recurring weekly services (e.g., dog walking), payment is due bi-weekly after the service. An invoice will be sent.
For occasional services (e.g., cat visits, boarding), payment is due within 24 hours after receiving the invoice.
Late payments may incur a $10/week late fee.
Rates are communicated before the service begins, and the client agrees to these rates.
Francesca Pet Care reserves the right to adjust rates and policies at any time without prior notice, but any changes will be communicated to existing clients before they take effect.
5. Cancellations
Dog walks and visits: Require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Boarding: Requires at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made later than the required notice will be charged in full.
6. Emergency Care Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Francesca Pet Care to seek veterinary care for my pet.
I agree to be responsible for any veterinary costs incurred as a result of emergency treatment.
The Client agrees to provide up-to-date veterinary contact information and at least one emergency contact person who may be reached in the event of an emergency involving their pet.
It is the Client’s responsibility to notify Francesca Pet Care of any changes to the veterinary or emergency contact information provided.
7. Photo & Social Media Release
I give permission to Francesca Pet Care to take photos or videos of my pet for use on social media or promotional materials.
No identifying information (such as client name or address) will be shared.
8. Inclement Weather Policy
In cases of extreme weather (e.g., snowstorms, heat advisories, thunderstorms), services may be delayed, shortened, or modified for the safety of the pet.
Clients will be notified of any changes to the schedule as soon as possible.
