Francesca Leonardi

I am a PhD student in Mathematics at Leiden University since September 2021. I do my research supervised by Dr Márton Hablicsek.

My research area is Algebraic Geometry. I am currently working in Hochschild (co)homology of schemes and its relation with Hodge and de Rham cohomology through a derived categorical approach and intersection theory.

Previously, I earned my Master degree in Sapienza, University of Rome. I spent one year in an Erasmus+ program at Université Paul Sabatier of Toulouse. There I wrote my Master thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Bertrand Toën. Later that work was integrated under the supervision of Dr Domenico Fiorenza.

When I do not do math I like alternating hobbies I am not very good or consistent at. A non-exhaustive list of the current ones consists of cooking, crocheting, reading, learning Dutch and taking care of my plants.
