Currently I am an Economist at the Digital Economy Unit of the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC),
and a Research Fellow at CRENoS.
In the past, I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cagliari (2024-2026) with S.Usai, and at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (2024) with S.Montresor, as Teaching Assistant in Economics of Globalization (2025) and in Econometrics (2018), as Research Assistant (2018) for the University of Cagliari with E. Marrocu, and with F. Cerina and A. Moro, as Economic Analysis consultant (2018, SGS Economics and Planning, Australia) and as EU project development consultant (ALDA, Belgium in 2016, Albant&Inedit S.L., Spain in 2014)
I hold an Excellent Cum Laude Joint-PhD title at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Applied Economics, and at the Gran Sasso Science Institute in Urban Studies and Regional Science.Â
My previous academic and professional endeavors also included a BA in Communication and Marketing (Lumsa, Italy), a Master in International Relations (MA @UCA, Spain) and consultancy jobs in Economic Analysis (SGS Economics and Planning, Australia) and in EU project development (Albant&Inedit S.L., Spain; ALDA, Belgium). Between 2021 and 2024, I acted as a Mentor in Business Strategy for OpenAzienda, an innovative company active in software development, R&D consultancy and hardware prototyping, while promoting Open Innovation and Sustainable Business development.
