“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor…” (Luke 4v18-19)

This is the piercing question that cuts to the very heart of the Foundations for Farming movement: The WHY of what we do as Foundations for Farming Champions – The answer is Jesus! He is the beginning and the end, the foundation and the centre of everything we do.

Keeping Jesus central is the true test of our Faith - In Matthew 7, Jesus warned that some who call Him “Lord, Lord” — who preached, worked miracles, and ran God-sponsored projects — will hear the devastating words: “Depart from Me!.” (Matt 7 v23)

The warning is sobering - we can grow amazing crops, transform lives through Foundations for Farming, accumulate the praise of men and even governments, and still not truly know Christ. The question is not the works we do in His name, but what he sees when He looks into our hearts. “While my name was on your lips, your hearts were far from me.” (Jeremiah 12:2)

Who can deny the dark clouds hanging over our planet — wars, deception, and the noise of social media. It’s the reality and lest we deceive ourselves, there is a storm coming that will try every man's works. 

Before speaking of wars or signs of the times, the very first warning Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 24v4 was this: “Take heed that no man deceive you.” This is even more relevant in today’s social media and AI world - We are at risk of being deceived as in the times of Noah (Matt 24 36-39) 

So, we need to be ultra discerning, focused and ready. Rather than consuming ourselves with predicting the dates and sequence of His return, the parables of Matthew 25 call us to simply be ready — to trim our lamps, to be faithful with what God has put in our hands, and to serve faithfully until we hear those beautiful words: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

So, it’s all about Jesus friends – he brings revival. He brings transformation.  He is what this movement was born for.
