Applicants are asked to bring a project or an idea for a project with them to the workshop, with the understanding that this is to be shared with other participants. Good proposals will be new avenues for enquiry; those with an interdisciplinary aspect (e.g., a physics project with interesting philosophical ramifications) are particularly encouraged. In the application form you are asked to provide a title, a short description, and some motivation about why this particular workshop is of interest.
The conference fee is 300 Euros; if you need support, please let us know in the form. Deadline for applications is 31st of March 2023.
Applicants will be notified about their possible acceptance no later than April 15th.
Statement of Inclusiveness
We refuse to compromise the ideals of academic freedom and open exchange. We affirm that scientific events have to be open to everybody, regardless of class, financial situation, race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, pregnancy, immigration status, academic affiliation, or any other aspect of identity.
We believe that such events have to be supportive, inclusive, and safe environments for all participants. We believe that all participants are to be treated with dignity and respect. Discrimination and harassment cannot be tolerated. We are committed to ensuring that the scientific events in which we participate follow these principles, and we request that organisers of scientific events make explicit statements on the event website to that effect.
(This statement is part of a larger initiative among the scientific community which we invite you to discover here.)
