Yes, I am a believer! I am the salt of the earth! The light of the world! (Matthew 5: 14-16) Yes, I am a believer! A Qodeshim! A Set-Apart One! I have confessed with my mouth that Yahshua the Messiah/ Jesus Christ is my Master and Savior and I believe in my heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead. I am saved. Romans 10:9 “In Yahshua I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound towards us in all wisdom and prudence (good judgement),” Ephesians 1:7-8 By grace I have been saved through faith. This grace is truly a gift of Elohim! It is not because of my works. I did not do anything special to deserve this gift. So I cannot boast Ephesians 2:8-9 So I just praise Him for it. I walk boldly in my faith being led by His Holy Spirit. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.” Romans 8:14
In being a believer I walk in the Spirit, so that I do not fulfill the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:16 I Trust in YHWH with all my heart, and I do not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge Him, and He direct my paths. I am not wise in my own eyes. I fear YHWH and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7
Again as a believer I try to live in the Spirit as well as walk in the Spirit Galatians 5:25 Being one of those that are of Messiah I focus on crucifying my flesh with its passions and desires Galatians 5:24 As I walk in the Spirit I live to bear it’s fruit which are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 I sometimes slack and am weak in areas. I am not perfect, but I strive each day to get better and over time, as I let His Spirit lead, I have become better.
In your walk as a believer give all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue add knowledge, to knowledge add self-control, to self-control add perseverance, to perseverance add godliness, to godliness add brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness add love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Master Yahshua the Messiah. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brother and sisters, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Master and Savior Yahshua the Messiah.” 2nd Peter 1:5-11
As a believer I am a part of His assembly, His church, His Bride, His Body! (Romans 12:5) I am not of any particular denomination and I do not get down with the separation. Either you are a believer and abide in His Word completely or you don’t.
I know as a church (His assembly) we should be of one mind. We must have compassion for one another. We must love each other as brothers and sisters. We must be tenderhearted. This is having a kind, gentle, sentimental nature. We must be courteous – which is being polite, respectful, or considerate. We do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling. Reviling is when you criticize in an abusive or angrily insulting manner. Being an alpha male type New Yorker this for me can be challenging, but I have gotten tremendously better than I what I was. 1st Peter 3:8-9
I do not communicate through cursing and foul languages. If I did how would that make me different than unbelievers? Besides I follow the scriptures when it tells me refrain my tongue from evil, and my lips from speaking deceit. Let me turn away from evil and do good; Let me seek peace and pursue it. 1st Peter 3:10-11 I will let no corrupt word proceed out of my mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29
I remember that the tongue is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Elohim and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of Elohim. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. This should not be so for a believer, so I make sure it’s not.” James 3:8-10
As a born-again believer, since I have put off the old man with his old deeds, I do not lie to people. I have put off all these as well: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth Colossians 3:8-9 So if you are a believer as well, stop the cussing. This is not how a believer should speak. It doesn’t match. Don’t let those words come from your tongue anymore. Let the falling world speak like this. We are different. Set Apart. We do not let filthy language out of our mouths. Get a hold of it.
As a believer we must walk in wisdom toward those who are outside (unbelievers) We must let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how we ought to answer each one.” Colossians 4:5-6 We must love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us.” Luke 6:27-28 Again Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.” Romans 12:14 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says YHWH. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; …Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:17-21 Is this easy to do? Of course not! But this is what makes us the salt of the earth. The light of the world. This is how we reach the lost. When we walk in anger and vengeance, we are walking in our flesh and not being led by the Spirit.
For the eyes of YHWH are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of YHWH is against those who do evil.”” 1st Peter 3:12 & Psalm 34:15 So do not do evil just because you are provoked to do so! You are a believer! We must behave like one!
These are our qualities: We let our love be without hypocrisy. We abhor what is evil. We cling to what is good. We are kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; We are not lagging in diligence. We are fervent (displaying intense passion) in spirit. We serve YHWH. We rejoice in hope. We are patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. We give according to the needs of the church” Romans 12:9-13 We give as Father purposes in our heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; 2nd Corinthians 9:7
As a believer we are not aligned with the ways of this world. We are in this world we are not of it. We are not conformed to this world, but are transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of Elohim.” Romans 12:2 We set our minds on the things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2 We put to death our members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of Elohim is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which we ourselves once walked when we lived in them. Colossians 3:5-7
Not conforming to the world means a lot. We do not conform to the way that the world honors their gods. Yahshua has not told us His birthday, nor to celebrate it, so we do not. We do not celebrate His death and resurrection on a particular set day that is set in accordance with the cycle of the moon. No we celebrate it every day in remembrance of Him always. We do follow the traditions of men even if they were passed down in ignorance from our family and loved ones. “We do not let anyone cheat us through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Messiah.” Colossians 2:8 We do not lay aside the commandments of Elohim, and hold the tradition of men Mark 7:8 We understand that we make the word of Elohim of no effect in our lives through tradition which has been handed down. Mark 7:13
We are not aligned with the world’s social movements and political agendas. Are we tired of innocent black men and women being killed and there being no justice, the world saying there really isn’t anyone to blame? Of course we are, but we are not depending on the world to bring us this justice. We are not following their chants of “say his or her name” being used to invoke spirits. That’s witchcraft. We are believers. We have no part in this. We know that the change that the world needs will not come until our Father comes and establishes His kingdom. Everything that is happening now is just directing us to false peace and security that will result in massive worldwide famine, destruction, and death that will bring about a one world currency, one world government, one world religion, and a one world ruler. We are believers. That future is not for us.
As a believer I walk in the world like this. Donald Trump doesn’t pay any taxes (wow that’s good for him) Breonna Taylor didn’t get any justice (I never expected her too, I don’t understand why people did) Look at all the athletes, actors, and artists all making stands for social justice (sellouts, they were either paid to do so or just told if they don’t they’ll lose anything, these are not my hero’s) Biden and Trump are about debate (psychopaths will be lying to millions of people) We need to pass a stimulus bill (wow they are really going hard with trying to crash the economy) It goes on and on like this. I am not attached to this world and the direction they are going.
I do not believe in COVID and even if I did, I will not walk in fear of it. I am a believer. Elohim has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2nd Timothy 1:7 My Father in heaven says ““Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your Elohim. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10 “Has He not commanded us? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for YHWH our Elohim is with us wherever we go.”” Joshua 1:9 I will not live my last days in fear showing a lack of faith. He determines my days and when they are my last. I will not succumb to fear because the world has told me to do so. I will walk in the counsel of YHWH. I will not walk in fear. I will walk in a sound mind. This is not a walk of arrogance or ignorance, but of assurance in whom I serve, who is my source, and who protects me. There are too many believers today, especially senior citizens who have let the world steal their faith. You have been a believer all your life. You have went through continuous trials and struggles that you know only our Father could have gotten you through, and in one fail swoop, the enemy shuts down the world with a virus, and whether it is real or not, you trusted in their science more than you trusted in our Father. You trusted in their fear more than you trusted in your source. You trusted in their precautions than you trusted in the Holy Spirit. You walked this earth longer than the majority. Do not let your last days be stolen because of fear and lack of faith. You do not want your time to end telling our Father “yea I loved and trusted you all my life, but COVID happened” The younger generation has more to lose than you. You lived a full life that we have not, so don’t look at it as you are more at risk. You are only more at risk of being gripped with fear and stripped of your faith. You are believer! The light of the world! Walk in strength. Our Father has not told you to barricade yourself inside. The world has. Be led by Him and what He says! That’s all I’m saying! Tell Father “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In Elohim (I will praise His word), In Elohim I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?” Psalms 56:3-4 The world tells you this way of thinking is foolishness, but that’s because they are not believers. Remember 1st Corinthians Chapter 2 verses 13 & 14 says “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1st Corinthians 2:13-14 Ask yourself in your fear of COVID because they said you are the most at risk, are you following the Holy Spirit or the doctors and science of this world. You are a believer!
Yes, we are believers! Believers living in the last days! That comes with a great deal of responsibility because we are literally the ones who are in charge of stewarding His Kingdom and bringing those willing to be a part of it in. Yes these are very turbulent times that bring a lot of unsurety. But as believers we are assured of the outcome as long as we are faithful. Revelation Chapter 21 verses 3 & 4 says “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. Elohim Himself will be with them and be their Elohim. And Elohim will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”” Revelation 21:3-4 verses 6 & 7 says “And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his Elohim and he shall be My son.” Revelation 21:6-7
Yes, the world wants to devour us. As believers we face much persecution from our enemy. But we must overcome and fight the good fight of faith. “And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify YHWH Elohim in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Messiah may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of Elohim, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.” 1st Peter 3:13-17
So as a believer continue to be the righteousness of Elohim. Read His Word continuously. Let His Word be a lamp to your feet and light to your path Psalm 119:105 Remember “All Scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 Show that you love Him and keep His commands. “For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” 1st John 5:3
Don’t ever forget! You are a believer! “Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahshua the Messiah, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Yahshua the Messiah from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of Elohim through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”1st Peter 1:3-5 It is time for us to live in His power and Grace. Be His body and Be His assembly! Be united in one sound mind redeeming this time, being stewards of His Kingdom. This is not a time of sorrow for us, but an exciting time of eager anticipation of our blessed hope! You are a believer! You are the Righteousness of Elohim! Continue to be this until the end! You are a believer! Be blessed!
