COVID Protocol - Please make sure that if a coach or athlete is ill, they do not attend this event. Masks are required indoors at UNC so anyone not actively participating in a match will need to wear a face covering. Please cooperate with this mask mandate while inside any building on the University of Colorado campus.
Coaches Matside - Only two coaches and the wrestler already assigned to the mat should be in the matside area. We will be strictly policing who is on the floor near the mats to allow spectators to be able to see the action. No parents or other teammates will be allowed at matside for matches. Please help us make this event fun for the parents and fans who come to support their wrestlers.
Live Streaming - This event will offer live streaming and archived video content.
Friday Morning Boys Weigh-in - Teams will be assigned to a specific mat on Friday morning for weigh-ins and the team supplying the scale will weigh in first on their mat. Please see the attached list to see where your team will be weighing in. Signs will also be posted on the clock at each mat as well. Make sure no wrestler is changing out in the open for weigh-ins. Each athlete needs to use the restroom or locker room to change their clothes. Every athlete will need to wear a singlet for weigh-ins.

Tuesday, Nov 30th, will be wrestler offs for all wrestlers. The wrestlers must be within 2 pounds of the weight they want to wrestle. Wrestler offs will determine who will be Varsity and JV for the Dec 4th matches. If a wrestler is at JV and would like to have an opportunity to wrestle Varsity later in the season, the wrestler wanting to challenge will have a chance every Tuesday. However, the wrestler can only challenge at one weight class.
Weight Certifications will be held on Dec 1st, and all wrestlers must be hydrated for the hydrations and skin fold test. The weight certification will determine the lowest healthy weight a wrestler can go. However, this does not mean a wrestler has to wrestle their lowest certified weight.
