Fossil Ridge Wrestling

The preseason will begin August 26th Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Tuesday's will be from 7:15-8:30 am working on Feet/set ups. Thursdays will be from 4:30-5:15 pm and  Fridays will be 7:15-8:30 am working on top and bottom. During this time, we will be working towards a September Tournament Cosmic Clash is Denver  and a Las Vegas Tournament in October (The Freak Show).

Parents will be responsible for getting their wrestler to weigh-ins and to the tournament. I will meet everyone down there to coach and support the wrestlers.

Session 2 from 02:45 PM - 08:45 PM

-DIVISIONS: BOYS 7U, ROOKIE 8U, BOYS 9U, ROOKIE 10U, GIRLS 8U, GIRLS 10U, BOYS 11U, ROOKIE 12U, GIRLS 12U, BOYS 13U, GIRLS 15U, GIRLS 18U

If a wrestler does not have a singlet, I will get them one before the tournament.

  • Hopefully home between 10 am and Noon. 

Preseason wrestling camp Nov 3rd-14th in the wrestling room. Varsity will be from 6:30-8:30 am and JV and new wrestlers will be after school from 4:30-6:30 pm. 

Note: No practice Nov 11th. 

The official start date for the season is Nov 17th.

• Coach Pavich must receive an orange card before any wrestler is allowed to practice.

• Wrestlers must have five practices before being allowed to compete.

• Practices will be from 4:30-6:30 pm.

What is an Orange Card?

• The orange card tells coach Pavich that the wrestler has completed all administration tasks and is cleared by the school/district.  

• If the orange card is not received on or before Nov 13, the wrestler will not practice until Coach Pavich receives the card.

Wrestling Fees

• $70  

• If your wrestler ordered a uniform hoodie or a singlet or both, they must pay for them through school pay. Wrestlers must give me a invoice confirming payment. Once confirmed, they will receive their gear.
