By being part of this team, we hope to develop each individual's potential, self-esteem, and confidence. That each runner will grow as a result of his/her experience with the cross-country team. We expect our runners to take pride in their sport and to show dedication through their ability to follow directions, attend practice and maintain a positive attitude.

It is our goal that runners are students first and foremost. Fossil Ridge cross country has a reputation for having team members who take great pride in their class work as well as their performances on the course. In addition, we as coaches aim to produce a team that is well respected in the Fort Collins community and beyond, for both their athletic achievements and their positive contributions to their school and community.

- Official practice begins August 12th.
- You must have an "Orange Card" from the athletic department to participate (see forms tab).
- We do not have try outs and are a no cut sport, however, the last day to join FRXC is August 23rd.
- Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 4:20 p.m. - 6:20 p.m. Wednesdays are in the morning, 6:30 a.m. - 8:00/8:15 a.m.
- Meet at the outdoor seating area just west of the athletic fields (just outside the health room hallway).
